Yael is the Australian resident of New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has a degree from NIDA. Yael enjoyed the privilege to have the opportunity to work with some of Australia's most renowned storytellers. She's worked behind the scenes in television, film as well as theatre. Yael leads a highly professional career that has been a success in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael made New York City her home following the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced the critically acclaimed production. Yael was the co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery promotes creative writing, and creative endeavors from it's Bushwick studio.
