Sutton Foster was a Tony Award recipient in recognition of her Tony Award winning performance such as Anything Goes in Thoroughly Modern Millie and as a character in Little Women. Star Search was her first TV appearance at the age of fifteen. Then she appeared in Bunheads and Psych as well as Johnny and the Sprites and Flight of the Conchords. Sutton Foster has toured the U.S. and around the world as a soloist with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish" the first solo disc, and her second CD, "An evening With Sutton Foster Live at the Caf Carlyle". Ball State University conferred her with an Honorary PhD in the year 2011. Alongside being an advisor and professor within the Department of Theatre and Dance, she was also awarded this degree by Ball State University. Her new TVLand series, "Younger," created by Darren Star began airing in March 2015.
