Geena Davis

Geena Davies is an American actress and producer. She is also writing, a feminist right activist, and a woman's rights activist. Beyond her numerous characters in Hollywood her work has earned critical acclaim for her roles in tv's shows of different genres. Before coming to films, she was a model in the fashion industry and also a part of the semi-finalist Team of Women's Archery in Olympics. Music was her passion since the age of three led her to study the piano and flute. Her first organ was at the Church located in Wareham. Following her graduation in drama from Boston University, she went to New York City to start acting professionally. The city was a tough place to be and eventually worked in a variety of odd jobs until she got her first break as an actor. It was her first big break as a model before she made her debut in the film 'Tootsie' in the year 1982. The actress appeared on numerous television serials and also had an immensely successful career as an actor. Actually, she won the Oscar Award with her film 'The Accidental Tourist. In addition, she won the Golden Globe Award' for her performance in a TV drama. She is the wife of Reza Jarrahy, and they have a daughter as well as two sons in this marriage.
